Scope of Work

Close SB I-71 to mill and replace base and surface courses for a six mile stretch. All work had to be completed in a 10 day closure. I-71 NB - mill and replacement of surface courses under nightly lane closures. All work on NB was to be completed during nighttime hours only.

Unique Challenges

The clock was our greatest adversary on this project. With only 10 days allocated for over half of the rehabilitation work, the pressure was relentless. The penalties for failing to meet this tight deadline were substantial, adding an extra layer of intensity to an already challenging task.
