HOW WE DO IT

Recycle old asphalt pavement from area homes and businesses, processing and blending it with virgin materials to build new roads. We are one of Kentucky's largest recyclers of construction materials.

Look for new ways to improve the efficiency of our processes and equipment in an effort to conserve energy, reduce waste, and lessen our environmental impact.

Use the latest techniques such as porous asphalt pavement whenever possible to reduce pollution in stormwater runoff.

Follow industry best practices for pollution prevention and waste minimization.

Meet or exceed applicable federal and state environmental laws and regulations.

DID YOU KNOW

100% Recyclable

Asphalt materials are 100% recyclable.

80-Million Tons

More than 80-million tons are recycled every year in the U.S.

Cost Effective

Asphalt pavement recycling is more cost-effective than using only virgin or new materials.

Stronger Surface

Recycled asphalt pavement is indistinguishable from new asphalt pavement and in most cases actually provides a stronger surface.

Cold Milled

Asphalt pavement can be cold-milled and recycled which saves costly readjustment of manholes, curbs, and sewer drains when rehabilitating urban streets.

Reducing Wear & Tear

Asphalt provides a smoother road surface, maximizing tire contact for safer driving and reducing wear and tear on vehicles.

Fuel Savings

Asphalt's smoother surface provides measurable fuel savings to the driving public when compared to concrete roadways.

Low Maintenance Costs

Asphalt maintenance costs are considerably lower than concrete.

Conserves Natural Resources

Asphalt recycling not only conserves our precious natural resources and speeds construction, but it also saves American taxpayers more than $300 million a year.
