The project began in April of 2016 and finished at the end of August. Gray Construction was the general contractor for the project. The overall site included a 160k SF building, 706 parking space parking lot, gas station, and vacant outlot.

Scope of Work

Demolition of the existing 19 acre parking lot and the site construction for a new Costco Warehouse.

Unique Challenges

The main challenge of this project was the timeline. We had 6 weeks to demo the site, prepare a building pad and prep for full construction of the building. Once the building started, it had to be completed from footers to open for sales in 180 days. This made the rest of the site work and utilities challenging to build. The logistics of the site was discussed daily to ensure a successful project.
