LPC owns and operates three asphalt plants in the Louisville Metro area. In addition to Bluegrass Testing, our quality control arm, each plant has its own certified materials testing/quality lab. We extensively test both public and private mixes so that every ton of asphalt meets our high standards. Servicing our Kentucky and Southern Indiana markets, we also operate our own bulk liquid asphalt terminal in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Our asphalt terminal contains over 4 million gallons of liquid asphalt storage capacity. For more than 70 years, the foundation of our business has held strong — a framework we built on quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Each Louisville Paving plant is fully certified for DOT construction. Part of our strong family of brands, Bluegrass Testing Labs is a DOT certified Quality Assured (QA) / Quality Controlled (QC) laboratory.
