This project was a resurfacing project with base failure repairs in a rural area of Trimble County, KY. Narrow roadways made this project a challenge to complete. This roadway was constructed with a durable pavement safety edge at the optimum 30 degree. This increases the safety and durability of pavement as outlined by the FHWA.
